Custard: Matcha Lavender

Ingredients

I1:🥛3 cups half and half
I2:🌾2 T lavender
I3:🍵1 T matcha powder
I4:🍬1 cup sugar
I5:🥚6 large egg yolks
I6:🧂Pinch (small) of salt

Instructions

Step 1:Gently heat
I1: 🥛 3 cups half and half
I2: 🌾 2 T lavender
I3: 🍵 1 T matcha powder
Step 2:Mix in separate bowl
I4: 🍬 1 cup sugar
I5: 🥚 6 large egg yolks
I6: 🧂 Pinch (small) of salt
Step 3:Gradually temper the egg mixture with the heated half and half, ensuring not to curdle the eggs.
Step 4:Return the mixture to heat and cook until it thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon.
Step 5:Strain to remove any lavender pieces and chill the mixture thoroughly.
Step 6:Churn in an ice cream maker until it reaches the desired consistency.

Result:

Good. People liked.
