Custard: Gingersnap

Ingredients

I1:🥛3 cups half and half
I2:🍬1 cup sugar
I3:🥚6 large egg yolks
I4:🌶️1 tsp cloves
I5:🍂1 tsp cinnamon
I6:🫚1 tsp ground ginger
I7:🍬2 Tbs molasses

Instructions

Step 1:Mix
I1: 🥛 3 cups half and half
I2: 🍬 1 cup sugar
I3: 🥚 6 large egg yolks
I4: 🌶️ 1 tsp cloves
I5: 🍂 1 tsp cinnamon
I6: 🫚 1 tsp ground ginger
I7: 🍬 2 Tbs molasses
Step 2:Sous vide at 175F for an hour
Step 3:Churn

Result:

Good. Housemate said it was too strong. I told him gingersnap is supposed to have a strong flavor, and not be overwhelmingly sweet.
